THE BEST PART OF ME: NOVEMBER 7, 2002

The best part of me is my brain.  It is smart, sensitive, and quick.  I like it because it helps me to solve problems, remember cool things, and have talents.  My brain has helped me to make it through my first day at a new school, get a 100% on my spelling test, and read my first chapter book.  My brain shows that I am a super intelligent person!!

Some whales are black,

 some whales are blue.

Baby whales are brand new.

Whales eat krill,

 please don't kill.

 Whales are big,

 they look so fine,

 they are ocean  friends of mine.

 They are giant.

Always I somehow wish,

 that I lived in the ocean like a fish.

If I were a whale I would eat krill.
