SAC MUSEUM FIELDTRIP: OCTOBER 29, 2002

When I was at the SAC Museum, I felt excellent. We answered questions for a Scavenger Hunt. We saw airplanes, two president’s cars, a bomb shelter, an old T.V., and we saw the T.V. It was not on. We learned about airplanes and presidents at the library. This was an important because we learned about how the air force helps protect country.

THE BEST PART OF ME: NOVEMBER 7, 2002

The best part of me is my eyes.  They are great to sleep with, blink, and to see the beautiful world.  I like them because I can close my eyes and rest, I can see to draw pictures, and to count money.  My eyes have helped me to close my eyes to make wishes, to see my favorite animal, and to do my homework.  My eyes show that I am a smart kid and a curious learner.

WHALE POEMS (typed on AlphaSmarts and beamed to laptop)

Whales are fun and they eat krill.

Some are helpful and some might kill.

Some whales are blue.

Fin whales swim fast but blue whales swim slow

This about whales is what I know

All whales live in the sea.

That's where I would like to be.

If I were a killer whale I might see krill.
