SAC MUSEUM FIELDTRIP: OCTOBER 28, 2002
I felt terrific to be in the museum. We looked
for answers to questions. I saw a dead snake. It was kind of creepy. The
airplanes we saw were cool. Some of them were huge. We went to a classroom that
showed how kids used to get ready for a nuclear bomb. We also saw a bomb
shelter. I learned that some of the airplanes dropped bombs and some of the
airplanes carried fuel. The teacher told us that there were 24 airplanes in
Hangar B. This field trip is important because maybe in fourth grade we will do
an airplane report, and we will know a lot.
THE BEST PART OF ME: NOVEMBER 7, 2002
The
best part of me is my mouth.
It is wonderful, silent, beautiful, and helpful.
I like it because I can sing, talk, and chew with it.
I also can kiss, blow bubbles, and wear pretty lipstick with it.
My mouth has helped me to talk to my mom about school, kiss my family,
sing to the audience, say my prayers, blow the candles on my birthday, and eat
my favorite food.
My mouth shows that I am a talented singer.
